  Tree Patta Scheme

2 Prescribed format : General application may be submitted.
3 Mode of Application : A nominal rent of Rs. 10/- per the tree (one-time payment) for slow growing species like Hunse, Ippe, Mavu, Nerale, Ala, Arali, Honge, Bevu, Bage, Sisoo, Halasu, etc should be paid by the Tree Patta holder / VFC.
A nominal rent of Rs. 5/- per the tree (one-time payment) for fast growing species like Nilagiri, Survey, Acacia, etc should be paid by the Tree Patta holder/VFC.
4 Eligibility for the facility : In both urban and rural areas, the one who likes to take the tree pattas should take the responsibility of protection of the trees.
5 To whom the application to be submitted? : In case of rural areas, the RFO will send the list of probable tree patta holder to the ACF after consulting the land owning department / agency / panchatyat chair person and VFC Chair person and Assistant Conservator of Forests will issue tree patta certificate.
6 Details : This scheme is for protection, development and maintenance of trees including the urban area, in the road sides and canal sides.This scheme gives the opportunity for sharing forest produce between beneficiaries, members, institutions and forest department.
