1 Govt. Order No. and date : G.O. No. FEE:259:FWL:2006 dated 17-1-2007
2 Prescribed format : General application may be submitted.
3 Mode of Application : The requisition should be submitted along with the details of damage and concerned Medical officer’s certificate.
No fee is prescribed for the request of compensation.
4 Eligibility for the facility : It should be proved that the man who is wounded from wild animal is not involved in any illegal activities in the Forest area. On the base of Medical certificate obtained from Medical officer who has treated the wounded person is eligible for getting of compensation.
5 To whom the application to be submitted? : Submitted to concerned Range Forest Officer.
6 Sanctioning Authority : The concerned Deputy Conservator of Forests / Assistant Conservator of Forests holding independent charge.
7 Compensation amount : Maximum of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand only) for each case involved.
